I’m Irfan, based in Singapore. My journey of learning brings together mountain expeditions, sports preparation/recovery, books and publishing through Summit SG, Summit Rehab and Bilal Books respectively.

Summit SG
I’ve climbed 29 mountains across 10 countries. My highest summit is Mount Elbrus in Russia, at 5,642 metres, which I climbed in 2024. I’ve led treks & expeditions of Mount Elbrus in Russia, Basic Mountaineering Course in Kyrgyztan, Gunung Datuk in Malaysia and Basic Survival Course in Singapore.
My mountain journey includes expedition preparation, acclimatisation, summit planning, safety briefings, team coordination and field leadership. My current outdoor qualifications are SNCS Level 1, SNAS Level 1. My upcoming learning plans include Part Time Diploma in Outdoor Education, SNCS Level 2, SNAS Level 2 and Outdoor First Aid.

Summit Rehab
I founded Summit Rehab in 2021 after beginning training in sports massage and Hijama/Cupping in 2018. I provide sports-focused recovery and wellness services, including sports massage, Hijama/Cupping and Hypoxic Simulation.
My training includes Basic Sports Massage through the International Sports Academy, Advanced Sports Massage through Vital Motion Fitness, and Hijama/Cupping through Hijama SG.

Bilal Books
I founded Bilal Books in January 2019 as an author, publisher and bookseller. I’ve written three books: Syafakallah: May Allah Heal You (2016), La Taqlaq: Do Not Worry (2019) and Piece of Mind (2021). Together, they have sold more than 12,000 copies.
Bilal Books has also published 7 titles by other authors and distributed 18 titles across six countries. This journey has included coordinating authors, editors, illustrators, bookstores and distribution partners, as well as managing publishing, printing, inventory, finance, marketing and sales.
Over the years, I’ve spoken at community and education events, taken part in book fairs and tours, and contributed to spoken-word and publishing events in Singapore and Malaysia. My books and writing have also received recognition, including Syafakallah being named Wardah Books’ Best-Selling Book of the Year in 2016 and La Taqlaq appearing among MPH Malaysia’s Top 10 Bestsellers in 2019.

A little more about me
Alongside these ventures, I bring experience in Technical Project Leadership, Engineering Maintenance, Solar Projects, Logistics, Operations and Training. I’ve worked as an Assistant Engineer, Solar Technologist, Project and Site Manager, Logistics Driver and Supervisor, and Driving Instructor. That experience shapes how I approach planning, safety, service and working with people.
I’ve also played semi-professional football under Football Association of Singapore National Football League and Islandwide League. I reached the quarter-finals of both the League and FA Cup in the 2025 season and was appointed Team Captain in 2026. Earlier, I played in National Football League Division 1 during the 2009 season.
